Off-topic has fallen

Even when it’s midnight in the US, it’s not as active as it is when it’s midnight in Europe. Europeans keep this forum active, I think. Even though most users are American, I think.
Is it that good at midnight? I might have to stay up late today . Is a weekend after all

Yeah I know. Right now I just have a rotter sleep schedule that I have to fix
My sleeping schedule was fucked but I’ve finally fixed it. The past few days I’ve been sleeping on time and waking up on time. :feelsautistic:

Kind of similar to the last one
So if I open a few of my your last few threads, I’ll be seeing screenshots from the stream? :feelshmm:

Still slightly better then the last two days though, almost all were rating requests

Yes:feelshmm: but I mostly commented on his profile:aheago:

I was sleeping, I'm awake now and ready to make off-topic great again

Also the spammers, humblebraggers, 14 year olds. So many users to put on ignore before the front page quality gets decent

“Wow! A yellow shiny username, must click on his thread.” Like that?
That’s sort of true if you think about it. Greycels look up to other users and want to interact with them

gengar yknow when youre in teaching/class management theory, are you gonna follow the authority>friendly thing?

I heard the usual protocol is starting off as an evil strict bhenchod before turning into a warmy friendly bhaichaochao as the term progresses :ogre: is that true? are you gonna do that?
Right now, I have to follow the teacher’s instructions (once I get my placement, that is). They will be the one guiding me. I don’t have the freedom to do as I please, unfortunately. Preferably, I’d prefer to be myself, but I have read online that it’s not good because the students will not see you as an authority figure. But I kind of disagree with this approach. Literature does say that students do their work if they like a teacher, because they don’t want to disappoint them. If my time as a staff member on this forum has taught me anything, it’s that people do like me. And I feel like being a teacher is not really that different from being a moderator on a forum. I get the feeling that I’ll be liked by my students as well. I seem to leave a decent impression on people I interact with. For example, last year when I studied the same major but elsewhere; one of my (female) classmates told me “I don’t know why, but I feel really comfortable talking to you.” That was nice to hear. I hope my future students will also feel the same way. So, to reiterate, I probably won’t get to be myself. I can’t say much for now, but I’ll keep you guys updated throughout the journey!

I can lowkey confirm this as a student. when a teacher is too nice and you feel bad for being a dick or doing shit in their class. there was this math teacher in 10th grade who I felt bad for being mediocre in his class and I lowkey apologised at the end of the year :lul:. to be fair, his face was CL so maybe halo effect sort of carried him, and you said you were truecel facially (your words, not mine, I think you're a larping CL tbh:whistle:).
