How FUOTY Works

• There will first be a qualification round, which lasts for 7 days. During the seven days, users make threads, replies, send DMs, and comments asking for people to vote for them and why they should vote for them. They give reasons why they should have the vote, and linking this thread so people can vote for them (very important, if you can't link this thread, they can't vote for you, since voting can only be done in this comments section)
• On December 21st, 2023 at 7:45am EST. Qualification Round closes.
• Your goal as a participant in the qualification round is to be among the top 16 most voted users on this forum. Only the top 16 pass onto the single elimination stages. The elimination stages are basically brackets and the pairing are chosen at random. A game lasts 24 hours and the winner after 24 hours goes onto the next stage, and it keeps repeating until it goes to the finals. The loser is knocked out of the tournament.

How To Vote

• You can vote for 1 user, 2 users or 3 users, or 4 users, or 5 users. No more than 5 users.
• If you vote for 3 or more users, you automatically get a point for yourself.
• Each of the people you vote for must be different. No repeated votes for another user.
• You can not vote for yourself. You can only get a point for yourself by voting for 3 other people.
• Banned users, inactive users, etc. are all eligible to be voted for. As long as you can tag them, you can vote for them.
• Tiebreakers will be determined by reputation points. If three people have the same amount of votes and only 2 can qualify, the person with the least amount of reputation points will be relegated.
• And please, if you "voted" already in the (Tag 3 users you'd vote for FUOTY Thread), please know that that doesn't count because FUOTY starts today. It didn't start yesterday. You must vote on this thread.

It would also be cool to explain why you voted for who you are voting for.

• December 23rd, 2023: Round of 16, Matches 3 & 4

• December 26th, 2023: Quarter Final, Matches 1 & 2
• December 27th, 2023: Quarter Final, Matches 3 & 4

• December 30th, 2023: Third Place Match (Two Losers of the Semi-Finals)
• December 31th, 2023: Finals
• January 1st, 2024: Winner Announced.

How FUOTY Works
