How Does FUOTY Work?

• This is the qualification round, which lasts for 7 days. During these seven days, you can all make threads, replies, send DMs, and comments asking people to vote for you, and detailing why users should vote for you. Be sure to link this thread so people can vote for you (this is VERY important, if you don't link this thread, users won't be able to vote for you, since voting can only be done via replies to this thread)​
• As previously stated, this qualification thread will close on Dec 21st, 2024 at 7pm EST. This is exactly 1 week after posting.​
• Your goal as a participant in the qualification round is to be among the top 16 most-voted users on this forum. Only the top 16 pass onto the single elimination stages. The elimination stages are brackets where one user competes against the other for votes; the pairing is chosen at random. A "round" lasts 24 hours, and the winner goes on to the next stage after 24 hours. The loser is knocked out of the tournament. This process keeps repeating until it goes to the finals where we will get our FUOTY. ​
• The final winner will be our Forum User Of The Year and will get to proclaim that in their custom title and signature if they so choose as "FUOTY WINNER - 2024"​

Some Rules:

• You may vote for a maximum of 3 users, with no repetitions.
• If you vote for 3 users, you will automatically get a point.
• You can't vote for yourself.
• Banned users, inactive users, etc. are all eligible to be voted for. As long as you can tag them, you can vote for them.
• Tiebreakers will have the winner determined by reputation points (reps).
• This isn't a rule, but if you would like to explain why you voted for someone, it might convince other people to do the same.
