I shouldn’t be surprised when we have a trend of people that smash their own face with hammers .

Usually each generation gets smarter i.e better nutrition , education and less wealth inequality.

I’ve seen research to suggest doomscrolling , porn , video games probably all contribute to this.

Probably a lot more people have given up and rather plug themselves into the constant free dopamine IV drip.

What’s everyone’s theory to why this is the case ?

Yeah 100% agree but IQ and school test results do correlate.

Not caring is definitely a factor , why grind for a job that barely pays above minimum wage.
