I've made a heightmaxxing/liftmaxxing guide in the past but I've decided to update it for a number of reasons.

Whatever your barefoot height is, you would, on average, be +1 inch with footwear. That's because footwear, on average, adds 1 inch. Some footwear adds a bit more like 1-1.5 inches but other footwear adds a bit less like 0.5-1 inches. But, on average, most men's footwear adds around 1 inch. Here are several relevant links below:

1. Some sneakers that add <0.5 inch: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h1.html

2. Some sneakers that add 0.5-0.75 inch: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h2.html

3. Some sneakers that add 0.75-1 inch: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h3.html

4. Some sneakers that add 1-1.25 inches: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h4.html

5. Some sneakers that add 1.25-1.5 inches: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h5.html

6. Some sneakers that add >1.5 inches: https://www.celebheights.com/sneakers/h6.html

The key to liftmaxxing is to just increase your footwear. Since footwear, on average, adds 1 inch, then in order to appear taller to others you must wear footwear that adds greater than 1 inch. So, for example, if you wear footwear that adds 2 inches, you'll appear 1 inch taller to others than what you would appear otherwise (wearing just regular 1 inch footwear). Or, for example, if you wear footwear that adds 3 inches, you'll appear 2 inches taller to others than what you would appear otherwise (wearing just regular 1 inch footwear).

Now there are two ways to liftmaxx:

1. To stuff lifts inside your current footwear (so, for example, by taking a boot that you have that adds 1.25 inches and stuffing it with lifts that add 1 inch, which will bring the total footwear to 2.25 inches).

2. To purchase elevator footwear (special footwear that has lifts built inside it).

(1) is limited and uncomfortable. You can't really push higher than 2.5 inches total footwear with (1). At best you can take a 1.25-1.5 inch boot and stuff it with a 1 inch lift to bring the total footwear to 2.25-2.5 inches, at which point you'll appear 1.25-1.5 inches taller to others (as compared to wearing regular 1 inch footwear). Appearing 1.25-1.5 inches taller is pretty significant. But what if you want to push even higher? In that case you'll need (2): elevator footwear that has lifts built inside of it for comfort. With these you can get up to 2.5-3 inches, at which point you'll appear 1.5-2 inches taller to others (as compared to wearing regular 1 inch footwear).

Here is one website where elevator footwear can be purchased: https://donsfootwear.com/en/

Go under "elevator shoes" and I recommend looking under "midsole technology" for maximizing comfort. Purchase any footwear listed under "midsole technology." When purchasing you'll be given the option to decide how much inches you want the footwear to add. The option will differ from footwear to footwear. Either choose the 2.75 inch option or the 3.1 inch option. Remember the footwear will actually add slightly less than what it is listed to add. So the 2.75 inch footwear will probably add around 2.5-2.6 inches, whereas the 3.1 inch footwear will probably add around 2.8 inches.

Some things to note: wearing footwear that exceeds 3 inches is going to be extremely uncomfortable and cannot be managed in the long run (without creating some leg and back problems). 3 inches is about the limit one can push for daily use. And that should be more than enough because with a 3 inch footwear you'll appear 2 inches taller to others (as compared to wearing regular 1 inch footwear). So through liftmaxxing you can appear up to 2 inches taller than what you would appear otherwise.

They also make a slipper now, you can put on your ankle under socks. Add another.5-1 inch or so in addition to the shoes.
