Officially out of the psych ward after more than a month

everyone I met who was similar to me in the ward at least tried once lol. I’m too autistic
You sound exactly like my sister and a few friends who are mentally ill. The one thing they all have in common is that these pointless drugs that they were prescribed only made things worse. I can't imagine how shit you feel on top of what you are taking, especially fluvoxamine I don't know why it's still given to people.

I highly doubt you can just stop taking these abruptly so it's a sticky situation. The only thing you can do is just cope and find ways to socialise with people. Humans aren't meant to be isolated we are social creatures and if you were happy in an environment where you received attention then replicate that.

The anti psychotics work. Ativan is just a feel-good drug which most can do without, same with Adderall. Best he could do is come off everything except for the anti psychotic unless he wants to risk having psychosis again

Just curious, why do you say that about fluvoxamine in specific? I’m thinking about going back down to 200 but we’ll see, and I’m currently tapering off of Ativan after 6 weeks of benzo use. going down on Seroquel too. You’re right btw, I definitely can’t stop taking them abruptly and I’ll be stuck on them for a while but a lot of my problems are due to loneliness and addiction. The professionals will put it down to labels but there’s more to it than that, and it’s hard to believe that im on the right shit. For as long as I know I’ve been addicted to something or have gone to some extreme to cope. When I was a kid I was addicted to video games and would constantly throw fits, steal money, break heaps of shit (multiple tv’s, windows, controllers, furniture items, etc.). I couldn’t be without it. It was an escape from trauma. Then when I was in grade 5 I added porn on top of it. Also used my phone a lot more than other kids in general. I’ve been seeing therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists since I was 7. I’ve been on fluvoxamine 250 before btw and I don’t even remember the initial side effects or anything, i just know I had some gi issues and it stopped me from being suicidal. 2 years off of it and hear I am again stuck in the cycle. Interesting you say that about your sister though, Prozac essentially saved my sisters life as well as my mums.
