Not really. Greeks can be accurately be attributed with the first formal systems of logic, systemization of fields of knowledge, detailed political philosophy, and by far the most advanced math for their term.
I mean I'm sure you can name a lot for the Italians, but Western Civilization which has permeated everywhere grounds itself in the traditions of Ancient Greece.
