Due to the lack of proper oxygenation, the ability to deliver fully oxygenated blood to the cells is also much reduced. Thus mouth breathing has a negative effect on every cell in the body as it deprives them of oxygen. Overall wellness and health requires proper oxygen as every particle of our being requires oxygen. Cancer cells, by the way, are anaerobic by design.

Anaerobic means "living, active, occurring, or existing in the absence of free oxygen"

holy shit, this might be why the main reason why people with better development live longer

How does one stop mouth breathing though.

Like what's the reason why 1 person mouthbreaths and the other doesn't? It's not like you get taught any of this, you just do it out of instinct somehow.

I know some people have allergies that makes it impossible for them to breathe through their nose properly, so they develop the habit of mouthbreathing. But I guess that's a minority.
Perhaps others have some kind of inferior nasal track development that makes it harder for them? I personally start to mouthbreathe very fast when I am doing exercise of any kind as I find it hard to get proper amounts of oxygen through nosebreathing. I feel my nasal track is narrow towards the end.

Maybe the true looksmaxxing surgery would be to make the hole at the end of your nose bigger to promote nose-breathing?!

I used to drool during sleep when I was a child/teenager jfl, idk if that means I was mouthbreathing.

Someone took a photo of me a few months ago and I was extremely happy to see that my mouth was closed during sleep. Major lifefuel.

Every child is born to nose breathe otherwise the fluid in the womb would drown them (looksmin)
But things like asthma etc are conditions of the environment and not genetic, you won't see one hunter gatherer hazabe who mouth breathes.
Essentially it's allergies making you breathe through your mouth, but since children get allergens and dust etc constantly they wouldn't naturally it makes that one time thing a habit.
Couple this with lack of proper muscular development by feeding them liquid mush from the start and then all solid foods being westernised and you have fucked the craniofacial complex for their life time

the reason they start mouthbreathing is because their diet has been to soft, even when talking about toddlers. weaker jaw muscles strongly increase your tendency to breathe through your mouth. also, the reason those guys develop these allergies in the first place is probably as well due to improper development, or at the very least of other environmental causes.

Furthermore, they don’t sleep very well–they are always tossing and turning and they wake up tired.

I have a severely deviated septum and I still breathe through my nose only. Except during high intensity exercise. Tbh I rarely see mouthbreathers. This is way too overblown on this forum

Almost eveyrone has 100% oxygen saturation regardless of development. Good development does help you breathe with diaphragm though, which will make you retain more CO2, increasing cellular oxygenation through Bohr effect.
