tbh trends switched and he wanted to evolve and has changed music and did tons of shit nobody has ever done.
He can be spotty at time sure and late registration is one of my favorite albums. Music was different then though, that's the type of shit that would be underground today but underground barely exists now. Or it's treated like it doesn't.

maybe i’m being biased, i grew out of rap a bit though idk

The jews control what is popular and what the zoomers like. Combine that with the fact most lyrical rappers have no idea how to navigate through the industry at all and no big artists are bringing them in.
not to mention most lyrical rappers that have made it lately are mid AF. Cordae, Joyner Lucas etc.
