When I see oldfags at the gym I get pissed off because they are so ghoulish and weak-looking. What do they expect to achieve at the gym other than decreasing their dwindling lifespan. There's always this one fucker I see who looks like he's about to keel over and die. Do they not know that stressing your body at that age has no benefit whatsoever?

I understand the sentiment to be honest. But mainly just when they’re in the way/taking up equipment I need to use. I get very irritable in the gym

There's always this old woman who look like she just got out of a hospital bed. Health indicators are completely fucked, face wrinkled to death, like what are we doing just leave. You aren't improoooving

True to be honest. With old people at that point I doubt they have the ability to make any actual improvement to fitness. But one thing to consider is that for lonely old people it’s beneficial just to be out in public/doing things/walking around. Going to the gym or grocery store gives them a way to leave the house & see other people for a little while. Sitting at home doing nothing will kill you quicker.

I think it’s the opposite, gyms give older people with less free time and also health, mobility, energy issues the opportunity to stay active. They might not be able to get that otherwise. Whereas young people can play sports, outdoor activities, jobs that aren’t just sitting at a desk. Cringe at wasting your youth in the gym unless you really need it for a sport.
