Classism plays a part but it's more the fact that becoming so powerful, and then having the hangover from all that accumulated wealth post empire, enabled generations of people to never evolve or advance, which is why the 'underclass' in the UK, has developed their own pheno, and in fact if you look closely the 'faux middle class' which has existed for nearly 80 years now, is well on its way to developing their own pheno.

It's a fascinating time in history as UK is legitimately seeing a quasi caste system being formed, and unlike everywhere else (latam, sea, india) true ethnic origin is not a HUGE driver of it
