I feel like I'm physically incapable of discovering new songs--I can force myself to put on an album that's new to me, of course, but it ends up as background noise, I tune out and have 0 interest in following anything closely.
These days I just shuffle through the same Spotify playlist that hasn't changed much since I finished middle school...

i don't know how people can actively look for new music, you'd have to listen to hundreds of hours of uninteresting shit just to find one song worth listening to, that would be unbearably painful, especially when 90% of modern music is ebonics gibberish. i just hear something in a movie, on the radio or in the store, then search it up on google

more of a normie trait. they basically just listen to the shit they liked in high school/college for the rest of their lives.

Always search for new metal, but don't like new pop and play old one from I liked in teen years
