older yugioh was waaaay harder

more mind games, more resource managemennt, more bluffing, more weird moves. i could NEVER get into it. im too used to fast agressive playing, chaining combos, getting trhough your opponents backrows, just playing cards to get your deck in motion. GOAT formats and before you had to constantly keep in mind what power cards your opponent has and can play, bait a lot, protect flip monsters from NOC etc.
