It’s pretty simple why this skin tone already has universal appeal, since in the west, the olive skin tone already fits the beauty standard by far, but the catch is that med skin can lighten and become pale naturally, which would fit the Asian standard aswell as many other standards around the world. The Black and Oceanian people who feel that darker skin is only more attractive than lighter skin, and because of this they will find people with their dark brown colouring more attractive, and olive skin can already tan to this colour quickly when it’s really hot outdoors.
It has already been proven too the many different benefits it has for men and women alike: You obviously look healthier, more youthful, it’ll hide blemishes, it tones your muscles, it makes you look leaner, it really contrasts well with light eyes, it makes your abs and muscles look so much more attractive, and it does indeed add a certain ethereal look to your body.
Take Cristiano Ronaldo as an example:
^ This is him with his olive and more tanned complexion, which obviously fits the beauty standard in all parts of Europe and even Brazil, and maybe even India because his skin tone is already considered fair compared to their darker skin tones.
^ This is him when he looks pale and fair skinned, which allows him to fit the standard for many beauty standards around the world like the Asian beauty standard etc, plus many Japanese and Asian women already find him super attractive even when he had his olive complexion: (Just watch these Asian women and even Asian men crushing on him hard)
^ This is him being tanned to darken to a darker brown complexion, which obviously fits the standards for the dark skin people who take pride in their own skin tone and find no other skin tone more attractive than their own, plus it might even darkern further to an ebony complexion
As you can see their are a total of 6 different normal skin tones(Pale, Fair, Olive, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Ebony)
Now the olive skin tone is versatile and can change to any skin tone, including the ebony skin tone if you were to tan even longer when you were already dark brown from tanning.
