Oliver Tree died in a helicopter crash in Rio yesterday. I keep thinking about what was going through his head when he realized the helicopter was going down and there was no way out. Knowing you're about to die — what does that even feel like? The fear, the adrenaline, your whole life flashing before your eyes. Did he think about his music, his fans, his family? Did he regret anything? Did he feel satisfied with how he lived? It's haunting to think that in those final seconds, he knew it was the end

When I was on the verge of death, I also mentally said to myself, "Well, this is it, we're about to die." It was a split second before we flipped over, so I think there's truth in your words

Most people blank out in panic situations like that. He was probably too scared to make a coherent thought and was hoping he'd survive the crash

Didn't he crack belle delphine?

Your brain gets on fight or flight mode tryna find a way to get out alive, but supposedly in some cases with longer time to think, like a malfunctioning parachute, some people have made peace with the fact that they're dying and time goes really slow, they start getting random memories popping up
