A dead end. But it is quite misunderstood mostly regarding purpose. It is supposed to be freeing but it has negative connotations now. Absurdism is like nihilism, but the diiference is that Camus explained that just because there is no objective meaning doesnt mean you cant create your own meaning. He uses the example of Sisyphus to explain this idea. Nihilism doesnt really do that and leaves you with the idea that the universe is a machine chugging along. The question is what are you going to make out of that info ?
