You want to get leaner without depriving yourself of nutrients. Eat red meat, eggs, butter, fish, raw cheese if you want every day. And eat when you are hunger. Your blood sugar issues will resolve and not feel hungry all the time and fix your hormones also (at least 100g fat a day). Having low fat or starving also fucks your hormones.

I eat w parents so i dont have control over diet but we do eat very healthyGo on the diet I said, and eat when you are hungry, not bored. The foods I listed are some of the most nutrients food sources, eat them daily. Go to the gym, you want to be at least maintaining muscle if not building it (especially since you haven’t trained before). Foods I mentioned are high in animal protein so good for building/preserving muscle and good for growth. Get at least 100g of fat a day (so don’t eat lean meat, meaning low fat, eat fatty meat). Fat is important for hormones which is important for growth and muscle etc

Yes go to the gym and focus in progressive overload. It will benefit you greatly especially because you want to get lean.
