I want to just run one cycle, reach my goal physique, then come off.”
This is a pretty common thing to hear—“just one cycle”
It looks good on paper. Blast for 20 weeks, gain 10-15lbs of lean weight, then restore the boys with a pct and back to normal life, right?
There are a few problems with that:
1. Most people vastly overestimate what they’d look like on steroids. Even with an additional 15lbs of pure muscle, 90% are nowhere near where they want to be, and still have a naturally attainable physique.
2. Steroids don’t just build a lot of muscle and strength, they make you FEEL great. More confident, more driven, more resilient, and often, much more happy with responsible use and compound choice. Nobody wants to stop feeling that.
3. You will lose a considerable amount of weight post-cycle, even if you do everything right.
When you stop using steroids, your balls are not working. They need time to kick back on and produce normal levels of testosterone again. That means AT LEAST months at hypogonadal/subpar t levels.
How do you keep the most muscle? Train as hard as you were, eat the food, and kill it in the gym.
Low t makes it hard to do all of those and often cannot support the amount of muscle mass you’ve accrued. Meaning basically, you’re not making it out with those 15lbs you gained. Maybe not even 5.
Just one cycle sounds great, but unless that cycle is a mega blast fest, then you go to trt forever, it’s way better to just stay natural.
Enhanced lifting is a long game and short-terms thinking in that realm, gets a lot of people hurt.
Long, boring cycles, blasting and cruising, are the way to go
