if youre maxilla is forward grown enough then idk if bimax would be worth the extra cm I get forward movement, ccw rotation and high cut bsso for better jaw angle and longer ramus, and my midface gets more balance but if you only need midface lengthening then maybe consider what the koreans do and shave your face from wider to slimmer

Their is so much going on in jaw surgery, its a big thing, you need to cut bones, you need to retach mucles, you need to stretch muscles. It can relapse. Your jaws are floating for sometime which makes the bite unstable. And with relapse it can mess up the bite. All kinds of things. All of it is more risk if the advancement is bigger
