To begin, online forums share similar dynamics to nations and groups of people, they are not exempt.

All of the advanced nations and regions in the world such as Europe (particularly Germanic Europe), East Asia, and their derivative/descendant nations and regions are advanced due to a plethora of factors, but one of the most pertinent set of factors is that these societies actively punish behaviors that would lead to a tragedy of the commons situation and destroy their civilization (they used to in the West, but...)

One of the main factors we are witnessing on this website is a tragedy of the commons situation, where people behaving in their self-interest damage the forum for everyone.

This is actually one of the primary shithole regions and countries in the world like Venezuela, Haiti, and most of the countries in the Middle East and Black Africa are the way they are... because people in these places behave purely in their own self-interest at the expense of everyone in the system, including them (self here includes anything they care about).

• Cause: Median individual not minding to engage in deception/theft/poor conduct of all kinds
• Long term effect on the system and is constituents: Destroys trust, makes it cooperation in that area harder, increases fear and stress, increases aggression, decreases the amount of people available for cooperation therefore making unification and large projects requiring large groups of people working together over space and time impossible, susceptible humiliation by other groups (if it persists + other groups are standards of deviations more advanced than you), makes it impossible to run companies, supermarkets, online marketplaces there since most people would not mind trying to deceive from you for their own benefit, (therefore makes having a techno-industial society fundamentally and utterly impossible, and therefore they have no choice but to either stay agricultural, or have underdeveloped cities infested with crime)

Of course, there are many more, and many of these traits do coincide with lower intelligence and/or lower prefrontal cortex and self-regulation capacity - or living in a society where the median person has those traits, therefore incentivizing outliers on the higher end of the distribution to do so.
Other things that can lead to tragedy of the commons socially are: constant use of insults, profanity, people not cleaning up after themselves, not saying hello to people when appropriate, not being honest and virtuous, not policing people who do these things, and other non-civil behavior. These things result in these toxins proliferating (since there is no immune system that can stop it) and result in loneliness, alienation, cultural degeneracy, disgusting public places, people just like each other less and other consequences that effect everyone in the system.

• Many find humor in insulting people who post high effort content or just do it for fun despite it not being necessary whatsoever.

• Some post content that they know are not good to post, but that intuition is shoved down the back of their skull to satisfy their impulses.

All of these things actively HURT the forum for everyone, and we're seeing the long-term effects of these toxic behaviors.
People here do not realize that the consequences of these behaviors are...

• Good users flee (just like higher IQ, competent third worlders leave their shitholes behind)
• Bad users multiply (no immune system to counteract toxic conduct, and they actually BUILD cultures around these kinds of conduct)
• The forum becomes increasingly unwelcoming and unlikeable (so even sane normies flee)
• Leaves the most disgusting users to blossom in numbers.
• People commit suicide due to insults, suggestions and hyperbolized truths (ex. @Schery6 constantly being told to rope, for fun btw)
• The cycle repeats until the entire system collapses (the trash users can't maintain the system the good users and founders built for them)

Please, there are nations and ethnic groups in the world where, due to the majority of people having these traits, create or degraded into cultures and institutions where this type of thing is rampant, and therefore can not civilize. Please, don't act like those people and bring it to looksmax.org.
