One month of finasteride: here is my experience and side effects

So today is day 30 since I started taking oral finasteride. I also take minoxidil, I do dermarolling once per week and wash my hair with nizoral shampoo once or twice per week. All this because I have to save my hair, balding is a death sentence and I just can't afford it....it's not just bad for dating, it has negative social consequences in everything because balding make you appear diseased and low class. It's also has negative psychological consequences because seeing in the mirror your balding head make it seems like you're getting old and the party is over. So, guys save your hair.

Here's my result: my shedding pretty much stopped and I'm seeing lots of tiny short hair sprouting around my temples, I have no idea if they will turn terminal or not...I do hope in the coming months they will get bigger and darker! I do think finasteride is responsible for stopping my hair loss and the derma rolling and minoxidil for my hair growth. They work in sync and it's important to do all three. I don't know if the nizoral is effective, probably just a waste of money tbh

Side effects: many people complain about their sexual side effects, I gotta be honest and say I absolutely have zero sexual side effect whatsoever. Nothing at all and I'm hyper vigilant about that in the sense I do expected to get them but for now I got lucky. That being said I did get cognitive side effects, the classical brain fog symptoms. I think some people are more susceptible to the sexual sides whilst others to the cognitive sides. Some lucky ones experience none at all.

Overall I'm definitely pleased, yeah the cognitive side effects suck but I'll keep taking it for at least one year....then I hope there will be something else approved to mantain hair without sides
