For many people they never chose to believe in the blackpill,but instead were slowly left with no other choice.This is particularly true for the sub5,the sub5 is rejected by society and then lied to and mislead as to why this is, "just be confident" "be nice" "get better hobbies" "dress better".The sub5 starts the fools errand (or stays bluepilled the rest of his life if he is low iq) and wastes his time and energy,he might fall for a PUA,he might become redpilled for a time,he might even fall for a looksmaxxer who lies to him and tells him he can become a CL with just softmaxxing.But nothing works for him,meanwhile everyone HMTN and above are enjoying their lives.Eventually one way or another he will come to face with the blackpill,it may be an edit or some other way,but it doesn't matter.
In the essay "The Myth of Sisyphus" by Albert Camus he details a concept known as "the void",the void in Camus works means the coldness and meaninglessness inherent to the universe.In this case the void would be everything that the BP would entail for a person who is Sub5 or even someone who is LLTN with no chance of ever ascending.It would not just be the surface level realization that due to hypergamy they would never be loved,but also the deepset realizations of what all of this implies about human nature.To the average person,once fully digested and understood,the realization that all that was fed to them in media and throughout their lives is fake and that love is based on pure superficial attraction that people subconciously represent as "liking their personality",the realization that alot of empathy is based on looks,that looks harshly affect your success in life,that looks do infact affect what people think of you on a fundamental level and that all of this is pure luck and genetics with no real way to improve significantly for alot of people,can infact have a massive impact on their mental health, and depening on how much they've actually truly understood,lead to suicidal thoughts and ideation.
Once he's stared into the void the Sub5 has 2 options,he can deny it (bluepill,redpill,PUA's ETC,Camus would describe this as philosophical suicide) or he can accept it.At that point he will experience what Camus calls the absurd.For Camus the absurd was the clashing of the human desire for meaning in a universe inherently devoid of it.In the same way in this case the absurd is the innate human desire for internal validation in a world inherently externally validating and all it entails as someone with no external worth according to the world.At this point you will reach a point of despair,as there is nothing you can do,you might even feel jealous of normies and bluepillers who are blissfully unaware of their reality since they don't suffer as you do,as Camus put's it:
"If this myth is tragic, that is because its hero is conscious. Where
would his torture be, indeed, if at every step the hope of succeeding
upheld him? The workman of today works every day in his life at
the same tasks, and this fate is no less absurd. But it is tragic only at
the rare moments when it becomes conscious."
So then why should the Sub5 do anything at all? We all who were born below HLTN know the pain of being rejected and being victims of the genetic lottery to a certain extent,but to alot of us there is a light at the end of the tunnel we chase with the hopes of bettering our situation,and just having that keeps us going, but for alot of Sub5 this isn't a reality.So why go on? Is this thread just massive ropefuel? No.This thread was made for the people that have come to the same realizations i have but unlike me have no hope of doing any softmaxxing or hardmaxxing.I won't lie to the Sub5 and tell him he will be loved as much as a CL and that it's all going to be ok,but the truth is that happiness is possible for the Sub5.For the Sub5 to be happy he must come to terms with reality and accept that to a certain degree society will always look down on him and he can do very little to truly change that.The truth is you will never be as happy as a CL,maybe none of us will,but you can be happy.
Most people say focusing on hobbies,money and skills is cope,and to a certain extent it is for most people who are only focuse on using these things to attract women,in the case of the sub5 this is not the case.The sub5 has to abandon all notions of using these for fidning love and simply focus on these to find meaning in his life while only interacting with society as much as he views necessary.For the Sub5 mastering an instrument,fully developing a skill,devoting his life to an art he can share without sharing his face, is what can bring him the most happiness.As for society the Sub5 is freed from the restrictions that many of us have when it comes to social norms believe it or not.Many will object and say "People judge Sub5 the harshest for everything and chad can get away with anything due to the halo effect" while this is true it fails to consider that for many people no matter what the Sub5 does he has already been rejected in a way no matter the way he acts.I don't mean to say that the sub5 can get away with what chad can when it comes to interacting with others,the sub5 would get arrested.But when it comes to his own personal actions that affect no one else chad and the Sub5 are similar for different reasons,the sub5 can wear what he wants,eat what he wants,smell how he wants,shower when he wants and get the same reactions from people,because after all the society that rejected the sub5 will give him the same treatment wether he does these things or not in public as if he didn't most of the time.This isn't to say that the key to happiness for a Sub5 is to never shower of practice basic hygene,it's just to emphazise that since there is no point,unlike many of us,a sub5 doesn't have to obsess and spend money on products,surgeries or truly worry how people perceive you since you know their perception will most likely be negative.
The Sub5 can focus on work or study,and while he will face hardships is it very feasible for the sub5 to gain a good income to support his hobbies or a basic lifestyle and find peace in his hobbies as long as he has a job he can get along with.The sub5 can create facelessly or simply never publish any work,he can also just consume content or simply find a friendgroup of similar looking people in hobbies that he enjoys if he wishes for friends (as long as he doesn't try to date since he will only be used as a wallet).Wether willingly or not the sub5 has been freed from having to worry about hypergamy since if he has accepted his position he understands that he isn't participanting in the dating pool and trying to pickup girls will only worsen it.

This takes me to the ending of the thread,in conclusion while the life of a Sub5 who can't ascend is brutal and sad, there is possibility for happiness in their lifes but they must go through a long journey to get a level of it.The endless and meaningless struggle they face much like Sysiphus pushing his boulder is ultimately a punishment,but it is possible to find a freeing aspect to it that many of us don't have.The sub5 has to focus on devoting themselves to skills to be happy and learn to move away from a society that will never truly accept them as one of their own,the sub5 is seen by many as a pitiful man,but i believe if he learns to truly accept what his position entails despite his seemingly desperate and hopeless situation he could live a better life then many LTN who try to ascend and fail in the process.By defying the natural law and that of society,trying every day and achieving a level of happiness despite what even genetics say,just like Sisyphus finding meaning in his punishment forced on him by the gods,the sub5 finds meaning in an equally hopeless situation.
The struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a mans heart. One must imagine the Sub5 happy.
