Yaser Abdel Said is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murders of his two teenaged daughters. The girls died of multiple gunshot wounds on January 1, 2008, in Irving, Texas.

I thought it was gonna be Jason Derek Brown before I opened the thread.

It's good to learn from these guys. How they managed to stay on the lam for so long. Never know when it might come in handy.

I'm only surprised anyone can get away at all, considering the amount of cameras everywhere and facial recognition.

He would have looked even more suspicious - Muslim guy, with a big beard - everyone in Texas would think he's a terrorist or something.

I don't think it's that simple to get plastic surgery, like you just go to a doctor and performs it on you immediately with no background checks.

It's crazy, man. I almost want him to get caught because of my curiosity, but at the same time I can't bring myself to root for law enforcement in that regard. A fugitive who manages to successfully evade capture for so long will always have my admiration. If I saw him tomorrow I'd just smile to myself. I wouldn't tell a soul.

Apparently he thought the authorities didn't search for him anymore because he might have fled to Egypt, so he let his guard down, he met with his relatives until someone snitched on him.
He was arrested along with his son and brother, who were accused of harboring a fugitive.
