SFS classic, but nah even in sfs territory this ascension is unique. Havent come across a better trimax ascension which sadly means thats its not the case for most

Your SFS is most likely not as severe as his, i bet you are just missing a bit of lower third height. Not actual skeletal bite complications. But tell me how it is, if your bite is fine etc.

not as bad nah but still bad. very minimal upper teeth show, class 3. believe my surgeon has stated the plan is a 5mm downgraft, 4mm upper maxilla movement and 12mm lower jaw

genio combined most likely
he did have a genio yeah

Short and receded face with class II & deep bite, managed with our “Face Push” concept.
It requires full cooperation with an expert orthodontist.
Maxillomandibular advancement plus maxilla downgrafting and genioplasty brought the face to the appropriate dimension
👉It is all about deciding where to 3D accurately position all facial bones in order to produce facial harmony
👉our minimally Invasive approaches allowed for a short surgery (95’) and recovery time
👉Perfect orthodontic management of the arches by @lorenteortodoncia, was essential to achieve this result.

holy 12mm is alot of mandibular movement. I would have an severe underbite if i had that much movement

Yeah ortho is very good when assessing a deep bite, but most people here dont really grasp that. Its often more dental than that its skeletal for most people. Im getting invisalign for my deep bite. Getting both my arches expanded aswell. Im happy more Oral Space coming soon

you doing palate expansion or just dental expansion through invisalign?

Dental expansion. My palate isnt that narrow, im already more of a brachy type skull. Also a pretty broad nose already. Expanding that would fuck me more than help my aesthetics

Why does every surgeon go to shit after having success? Im just hearing more and more horror stories from surgeons recommended here for the past years. Shit sucks for ascending

ive been in the jaw surgery space for years now. seen so many surgeons become highly regarded in lookism and sleep disordered breathing spaces, just to have 3-4 botches in a row. there's someone i knew years ago in the sleep space who raised so much money just to end up botched by the surgeon in this post actually.

at the moment i think the best move is to find the best surgeons in your country/immediate proximity, get their planning sheets showing specific movements and simulations - and go from there

literally some of the best results ive seen havent come from the italian trio, or the well regarded american surgeons. it's been local surgeons in facebook groups doing it for bite/sleep issues rather than aesthetics.

You seem to have a very based view on the things. Im want to go the same route. Getting my teeth fixxed first, (btw i have the luck of not paying, my parents do) and than i look into other things.

Getting the teeth fixed is useless cause it have to do another round of braces before surgery
