is the way they were raised, its extremely important to go through hardship at a really young age to make you more detached from emotions and sense of self

newer generations were raised with everything, everyone telling them that the world is a beautiful place, school, parents, society, turning them into a victim mentality, social media destroyed self esteem of many people, life would be easy if you get good grades, go to college, get a regular job and find happiness in materialistic shit

Meanwhile in reality, teenagers are committing suicide en masse because the tiktok algorithm keeps telling them they are ugly fat failures.
To think that it is easier now than it was in the past is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Young people are proto-cyborgs now. Half of their life is an internet life. The other half is the real world that is heavily influenced by the internet.
