missed out on so many social milestones

most you can do is try to forget about it

one of the most important developmental periods gets ruined because of a bad environment

no real opportunity for something real

don’t get me wrong

you can mourn for it

mourning is acceptable

it’s reasonable to do so

but you gotta move on

you can’t relive those years

you can’t “fix” them

obsessing over what should’ve happened won’t give you closure

do what you gotta do

do anything you gotta do to remove anything that reminds you of it
