DOGTOOTH

A controlling, manipulative father (Christos Stergioglou) locks his three adult offspring in a state of perpetual childhood by keeping them prisoner within the sprawling family compound. The children are bored to tears in spite of distractions like Christina (Anna Kalaitzidou), an employee of their father's who makes regular visits to sexually service the son (Hristos Passalis). Increasingly curious about the outside world, the older daughter (Aggeliki Papoulia) hatches a plan to escape.

Fuck spoiler alert, one of the last scenes is incestous and to display "true art", the sex scene is without any censor

A lot of the "pretentious cinema" is overrated nonsense indeed, not most though

Zzz Ok GIF by Jim Gaffigan

Nah, I'm good. Sounds boring as fuck.

I would be interested if the plot went something like:

BLUETOOTH IN MY FECES

A failed comedian, an unfunny husband locks his three wives in a basement forcing them to be audience members. He keeps each one in a cage and provides a home depot bucket for their shithole. He has a wooden stage in front of the cages. He makes them listen to his not-so-clever jokes. "Why did the road cross the chicken?"

The wives are dumbfounded by his retardation. One of them says, "And another joke that already makes no sense. A road can't cross anything but another road! Stop it! You'll never be funny!"

"SHUT UP YOU, WHORE!" he screams at his wife and stomps his feet on the stage in a tantrum. "Any fucking way! Miss Ruined My Fucking Joke ruined my fucking joke. Now I have to bring out the big boys." The wives sigh.
