The feeling when drunk or high off anything and you feel super happy and warm and maybe if on harder substance even feel orgasmic pleasure and comfort but then you look into the mirror and despite feeling amazing the sober true part of you feels sad and guilty because you know it is a artificial feeling and you think about your life and choices and feel guilty especially when you told yourself "I won't get high today" or the worst for me was I always told myself "I'll never try x substance" (not saying the drug tbh) and next thing ik I'm high on a new drug staring in the mirror feeling amazing realizing I'm going down a bad path and need to change before I wind up a addict and you just feel so horrible because drugs enhance whatever emotion you feel so now you feel horrible guilt sadness and maybe anxiety and pray that once you're sober it'll be the last time you ever touch anything

Whenever I take psychedelics or smoke weed, feel great on the come up, but then after the peak, I become more introspective and realize how shit my life is in some aspects and how that holds me back

I've had bad trips as well and it showed me things that are good and bad tbh I saw futures where I'm a junkie and now when I get high I feel like I'm making it true especially when I try new drugs I said I wouldn't

only thing ive found thats helped at all is replacing one addiction with a healthier one and praying tbh
