I'm in customer service. I have to be nice and friendly and FAKE.
So there's this blonde girl,she has like 4 kids probably in her later 20s. She used to pull up with her bad ass kids driving her crazy. 2 of them boys and they are bad. Then one day a couple months ago she pulls up and starts telling me she broke up with her baby daddy. She made it known to me that she isnt going to date for a long time. "Maybe down the road". She was taking the option of dating me out of the equation even though I never asked her out or anything. just was nice to her and listened. But I did find her attractive.
So one day before i quit my job i seen her with a guy and she didnt say shit to me like usual. I went to another job found out i didnt like it and asked for my old job back which i also dont like it.
So yesterday i see this girl,and i was nice and said how you been? She says i got a boyfriend!! And wanted to show me a picture so i looked and it was this fat huckleberry with a beard. I just said oh ok that was fast. She replies yeah well look at me. Implying she's hot and guys want her. Then she showed me her lame brother on her phone singing a country song and in my head I'm thinking wtf who cares. I ask her where she met him, she says at work. Hmm I could swear people told me never try at work lol.
Then today I tell my mom,(the only one I can tell) and tell her how this job makes me feel ugly and she's like you shouldn't let people get to you! But yet she says she wouldn't work with the public. Yeah just dont let women get to you,just accept that they dont want to get with you and choose huckleberries with beards over you.
Also at my last customer service job I actually asked for numbers and would get rejected every time. So in my head I know every one of them would reject me,even if they are nice or not.
