People actually giving a fuck about x social issue

For a long time I wasn’t sure if people genuinely cared or were larping and pretending to. Israel vs Palestine for example, or kids starving in Africa.

Same thing when I read about crimes, I’m surprised when people are really mad at the criminals. Are they just looking for an excuse to take out anger?

Whenever people rage about crap on some internet drama. Redditors crying about homophobia or sexism. Is it performative or genuine?

This isn’t even me trying to be dark triad or something, it just makes no sense to me.
