bhai if your irl looks are mid but you still want matches and attention then this is the right thread for you.

Part 1: Lightning is literally half of your face.

good light can hide all recessed shit and make your jaw pop like you got fillers. bad light exposes every flaw and makes you look like a cuck.

front light from slightly above eye level. use natural window light in the morning or late afternoon when sun is soft. avoid overhead bathroom lights they tank your under eyes and create shadows that halves your smv.

pro setup for brokies: cheap ring light from amazon or just point a desk lamp at your face from 45 degrees. for advanced try one strong light source from the side to create shadow that sharpens cheekbones. strong single source light hits the parts that stick out first so brow ridge and jaw get highlighted while flaws get hidden in soft shadow.

test this yourself. take the same pose in different lights and compare. you will see massive difference. harsh direct sunlight is trash unless you are already chadlite it washes you out.

You might think lightning from behind makes you look the best as it gives you hollow cheeks and etc, and this might be the case for some people, try it out for yourself and see what fits you

Part 2: Abuse angles until youre unrecognizable.

frontal pics are risky unless your harmony is on point. most guys look better from 3/4 angle because it slims the face and shows jawline better. side profile only if your hyoid and nose are decent otherwise it exposes everything.

chin slightly forward and down for most shots. this reduces double chin illusion and gives better jaw projection in photos. above eye level camera angle is law for short guys or recessed chins it makes you look taller and more dominant. never shoot from below you will look like a potato.

find your best angles by spamming 50 pics in different positions. delete the bad ones and keep the ones where your positive features dominate. if your eyes are your best feature tilt head so they catch light first. if jaw is money show the 3/4 that pops it.

Part 3: How to pose CORRECTLY.

stop ”hunter eyes jestering pose” looking into the camera unless you have an top 0.1% eye area and perfect harmony. most normies look better with slight smile or neutral with relaxed mouth. forced grin makes nose hook and alar flare so avoid if your midface is weak.

first pic decides everything. make it your strongest one. high quality clear face focused with good light and angle. no group shots (if youre not 6’4 and chad)
