I used to have a lot of IRL friends untill puberty where they all ditched me because I was ugly since they wanted to hangout with girls and be cool.

The only friends from then on were ugly nerds that were also inpopular with girls. I can't blame myself for stopping to socialize IRL when these were my only options, rather socialize online where I am not treated like shit for things I have no influence on.

Disagree. A friend is just someone you have something in common with that you do things with. It doesn't even have to be someone you have a deep emotional connection to. I used to have friends irl that I literally only played video games with.. So what's the difference between a real life video game friend and an online video game friend? Same goes for someone you just banter around with. Same shit. Different outlet.
