This is extremely stupid and misinterprets the original study to such an insane degree.

Assuming it's 60%, does that mean if you end up becoming 6', that 3 foot and 7 inches [60% of 6'] of your height was raw genetics, I.E. you were destined to be this height, and the other 2 feet 5 inches was from lifestyle?

Really? THAT much leeway?

No.

This is the original study that idea comes from

I will quickly explain it. The height being 60-80% genetic comes from the height difference in twins.
So if you are 5'10, and your twin is 5'8, , or you are 6'1 and your twin is 6'3, 60-80% of that 2 inch difference would be because of your genetics SLIGHTLY differing, and the other 20-40% of that 2" would be from environmental factors such as diet and lifestyle.

This doesn't stop the "20-40% of your ENTIRE height is based on your lifestyle" lie from being shilled by literally every front page source you can find, and every heightmaxxing grifter.

Seriously, think about it, even the 20% number. 20% OF YOUR HEIGHT? Come on, unless you're literally starving, your height will at MOST be half an inch different.
When was the last time you saw identical twins with wildy varying height? Even my 2" example was pushing it.

Aromasin thru puberty or LDAR, lifestyle won't save you.

You can change almost all of the genetic aspects apart from your DNA sequence

Tbh jfl at lifestyle jesters for height, id yiu live in a first world country your diet is likely already close to optimized as the only metric that matters is not being deficient pretty much and of course genetics but you cant do much about that.

The 60 to 80 percent genetic thing is about population variation not your personal height. People hear that and think ok I can heightmaxx 3 inches with milk and sleep lmao nope. Genetics sets the range environment just decides if you hit it or stunt yourself.
If you grew up normal in first world conditions you are basically at your ceiling. Lifestyle won’t add extra inches it just stops you from falling behind. All the milk sun vitamin D stretching heightmaxxing shit is mostly cope. Truth is bones and puberty timing decide height anything after that is basically LDAR.
Very good thread tho

The rest of your comment is based on this premise so I will respond to it.
No, the study it comes from says nothing about population variation, it only talks about comparing twins.
