This is extremely stupid and misinterprets the original study to such an insane degree.
Assuming it's 60%, does that mean if you end up becoming 6', that 3 foot and 7 inches [60% of 6'] of your height was raw genetics, I.E. you were destined to be this height, and the other 2 feet 5 inches was from lifestyle?
Really? THAT much leeway?
No.
This is the original study that idea comes from
I will quickly explain it. The height being 60-80% genetic comes from the height difference in twins.
So if you are 5'10, and your twin is 5'8, , or you are 6'1 and your twin is 6'3, 60-80% of that 2 inch difference would be because of your genetics SLIGHTLY differing, and the other 20-40% of that 2" would be from environmental factors such as diet and lifestyle.
This doesn't stop the "20-40% of your ENTIRE height is based on your lifestyle" lie from being shilled by literally every front page source you can find, and every heightmaxxing grifter.
Seriously, think about it, even the 20% number. 20% OF YOUR HEIGHT? Come on, unless you're literally starving, your height will at MOST be half an inch different.
When was the last time you saw identical twins with wildy varying height? Even my 2" example was pushing it.
Aromasin thru puberty or LDAR, lifestyle won't save you.
