These two are only legit method to measure ur bidelt accurately

1) Door sliding , just check if u have it in ur home or not ,
Press ur one deltoid to other deltoid in between door sliding ,
Than using a measuring tape measure it .

And using this chart u can check ur percentile where u stand

2) vernier caliper : this one requires other person too , and it's pretty rare to have this tool, u need to get it from lab or something which is too much of a work

That's it rest all methods to measure can be really inaccurate as even 1 inch can make a big difference.
