Idk if pure Africans are better athletes than whites. I think african Americans or other slave descendants might be because of how they were bred and also because they were already bred to be slaves coming from Africa.

A lot of people ik who are supposedly closer to African roots were more commonly avg to sometimes even below avg athletes. Manlets as well.

Blacks are faster we have higher centre of mass loner legs and more fast twitch muscle But ofcource black is not one homogeneous ethnicity

blacks have more fast twitch muscle fibers than whites which are responsible for their explosiveness. Slave breeding might be true but they evolutionary are better in sports that require 0 brain and all power. The moment intelligence and i would argue strength is involved, whites dominate
