Never on the sides because it will be obvious after years your head gonna look asymmetric because of remodelling
If you have a favourite side you sleep on for ex right your head is gonna be slightly pressed and looks pressed and flatter after years but not noticeable to normies but will make huge change

Easier said then done, because you're gonna roll in your sleep, if you sleep too much in one position and pressure will build on that side, it's an unconscious reflex of the body.

This is why I sleep suspended in an air vacuum.

A water bed distributes pressure evenly on your back and sides, you sink in it and apparently you can go to sleep and wake up in the same position without moving.

Water bed is bad for the back, you need a decently hard surface to apply pressure to your back to make it strong. sleeping without a pillow will help you maintain postion.

I think sleeping on your back is worse if you have sleep apnea because then the tongue is more likely to obstruct the airway.
