If you have lots of friends and good family relationships, your chance of realistically hardmaxxing goes to near 0. The issue is that when starting new interactions, your face will matter a lot to get you in the door, and as they don't see the change they won't judge you for who you were before. But if you have a social circle and all of a sudden you have huge facial swelling and look obviously different, it can actually be a negative thing for your social life. But if you are a loner and then ascend a huge amount then the people who now suddenly want to be in your life won't know your past. This can either be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

my normie cousin has a worse skull than me but because he goes out everyday, has hella friends, is in a frat and has a girlfriend, hardmaxxing would never even enter his head cause of the healing process and what ppl would think of him

when i told him i was getting jaw surgery he couldnt comprehend why id willingly get my face cut open, go through brutal recovery and look swollen for months. to him it sounds insane because he thinks id be sacrificing the best years of my life.

he also said people would probably assume im gay or insanely insecure for caring that much about my looks. but i literally dont have friends or people i regularly talk to, so whose opinion is even changing lmao. there isnt some massive social circle watching me disappear and come back looking different

another thing is the recovery. im not sacrificing the best years of my life because im not even living them. i ldar all day and barely go outside. for him surgery would interrupt his life, for me it would literally start mine

Nah I have a cute GF, friends, a decent job, a loving relationship with my family etc. I don't even care about swelling or whatever, I already told my friends about all my surgical plans. They think I am mentally ill with BDD but they can't stop me. People here are too high inhib about this stuff, worried about the possibility of some girl they meet years after detecting you had a rhino or whatever. I say just tell them, people will be impressed by your bluntness. At the end of the day people who are truly your friends won't leave you simply because you decided to change your appearance
