i'd say it's mostly because a lot of ethnics like everyone else are brainwashed into thinking there are no inherent differences in people and that equality should take precedent over meritocracy and genetic advantages. and for ethnics, especially low iq ones it's a cope as well.

also the funny thing is that in nature every human would have survived under the system you mentioned minus the strict hierarchies. hierarchies in paleolithic societies were determined based on skills and abilities rather than lineages.
