Opening a children's playground

Since I didn't have much of a childhood but still feel like a kid at heart, I was thinking of buying a piece of land in the middle of the city and building a children's playground there. It will be private property but open to all the children to come and play, it will have slides, monkey bars, swingsets, and other recreational equipment. There will be balloons and candy too, for the well-behaved kids, it will be my way to give back to the community. I will also dress as a clown and entertain the kids and play with them, I actually applied once to a company who was looking for clowns, actually they were looking more for street peddlers to dress as clowns and sell balloons, toys and trinkets to kids, but I was rejected, they claimed I wasn't funny enough...
What do you think of my idea?
