COVID is ripping through China rn, it will kill at least 1 or 2 million minimum. Couple of weeks ago the govt declared 7 covid deaths that month despite millions of COVID cases. It's fucking nuts over here. I work in a school with 4,000 kids and about 3-400 of them had it within 2 weeks of a case being reported in the school. School was closed 2 week before the CNY holiday and I was working online

Crematoriums and morgues here have been overflowing, the real numbers will never be known because they will be obfuscated by the government. But that's the real joke isn't it, the government here would rather let 20 million people die before they hint something is wrong
