Could someone give book recommendations?

fascism hinges on having a common “enemy” in order to actually work

once that enemy is removed, fascists will naturally turn their sights towards other “undesirable groups” until they eventually start destroying themselves

Most of if not all the political tests I've taken have pointed me towards fascism, specifically British fascism

I'd need to read up on more fascist theory to form an actual opinion though but it seems decent

I don't know that much about politics however I feel like any ideology thats authoritarian isn't good for the people like yea if you are the leader or have high power in the government then it's good ig but a normal person? You have no freedom to vote how is that a good thing? Also you can't say anything against the leader or you are fucked but then again fascism would for sure have a stable society and a strong nation(prob wouldn't last long) but is it worth it?
