what do you guys think about tear trough filler because it seems like such a quick and cheap way to hide eye bags caused by recessed infras but obviously it's temporary
I'm thinking about getting it when I turn 18 then when I have more money when I'm slightly older I can get fat grafting

imo theres no point of getting filler and fat grafting later. just pause on the filler and get fat grafting it mogs hard. low complication risk too. implants in that area lowk be getting risky so js stick with fat grafting or just get lefort 3.

😭😭😭 "yea just get lefort 3 or fat grafting"

so shall I not get filler and just save for the fa grafting?
if you want to get filler you can but if its infra recession you just masking bone with gel, fat grafting just seems smarter and ur young so fillers could cook ur eye area but a good injector would know what he's doing

tear trough filler is a band aid solution tbh just fat graft later kiddo
Just save for 2-3 years and look like shit during that time theory
Get infraorbital rim implants. Cheaper in the long run.
Or you can save for it WHILE getting filler? Filler costs $200-300 per year and makes your face look significantly better
Fat graft mogs
no shit retard that wasn't the question

Do it and save, or you can just get it redone yearly for pretty cheap

look at his pic the guy doesn't even look bad you'd be saving money for an actual solution i never specifically DON'T do it
I'd advise against filler bc it's temporary cope and if he's gonna get fat grafting in two years he could use the money for something else now even if it's considered cheap

i saw you doing chin filler i never saw the results maybe i'll look now
chin filler is forgiving but eye filler is not

tbf i'm a larp compared to Orka all I do is study

Then you're wrong, filler isn't cope and can literally reshape your entire face, you just need revisions as opposed to $20,000 custom implants

Study from people who have experience, they'll tell you stories about how they did, if you can find people who have done both filler and had implants then you'll be better off

Yeah but needs maintenace and revision as you said if done conservative

I've read studies and seen photos of it studies showing HA filler and improves contour short-mid term

it's not exactly cope but also not a good substitute for actual structural fixes

what do you mean by this? not a good substitute for implants or osteotomies?

obviously not osteotomies, but 100% is for structural fixes

Filler solidifies and feels like actual bone once it's injected, nobody could tell my chin is filler if I let them touch it

What I mean is it might feel as if it is bone but it's still gel i'm talking about functional structure and cosmetic structure
obviously not osteotomies, but 100% is for structural fixes
It doesn't anchor to your skeleton, won't change load, and it won't grow or remodel itself it shifts migrates and eventually will need upkeep

i agree that it will mimic structure visually and by touch but don't implants/osteotomies actually change framework?

what functional structure? what? nobody gets filler for functional reasons and nobody gets implants for functional reasons

if it feels like bone, it's doing its job pretty damn well.

It anchors itself into the water molecules in your face, that's the point. It becomes apart of your face until it eventually dissolves itself

Implants do the same thing as filler except they're screwed in, osteotomies and implants aren't the same thing at all. Osteotomies can be functional since it involves cutting your bone and repositioning it, but implants & filler are never functional.

so you recon a little bit of filler would look fine and btw how can I use concealer properly every time I try it looks rlly bad

We might be getting lost through semantics I obviously did not mean it as of functional things like chewing or anything, to clarify, by 'functional structure' i meant actual skeletal framework not something psychological

yes filler provides a convincing cosmetic scaffold sort of thing that mimics bone visually and it's tactical for sure. I've never done filler so to me this is superficial and i've seen a lot of people and their personal anecdotes when talking about filler and implants but it is subject to migration and eventually resorbs

implants do integrate with the bone mechanically and osteotomies are different since they reposition the bone itself so it truly alters framework I have no real argument because people do what they want anyway filler is just replication implants/osteotomies are structural modification

i was really just saying filler is a temporary band aid compared to fat graft which is the real solution
