I mean the promiscuous 20% is true, but the "top 20% of men" framing assumes women are all competing for the same men, which assortative mating data contradicts. Hypergamy obviously exists, but what do you guys think?
 
combine the lines of the first with the second maybe and make the horizontal lines red indicating ltr's

The reality section is from survey data (GSS, NATSAL), majority report 1 partner at a time over extended periods, and high partner count individuals cluster together assortatively. I mean it is true based off data.

"reports" "National Surveys" do you see the flaw?

in research, surveys, reports, and opinions all have the same value. they're treated like nothing, or at the very least, subjective and never objective. Do you know how unreliable self reports are? especially when they're not anonymous like they were in these collections?
