Mind says just as it was before you were born, would be nice if something happened though

Fair lol. I agree with that somewhat but your soul is so complex I feel like something has to happen

Probably nothing. I'm afraid of reincarnation or an after life unless the afterlife grants us eternal bliss.

Why would you be afraid?

Why would you be afraid?
I'm afraid of reincarnation or an after life because nothing is known. If I reincarnate into a 5'7 Colombian with a terrible life, a tripod fish or some alien that is in a state of constant suffering or some bs that'd be hell. An after life might literally be hell.

Fair I guess but you wouldn't know, it wouldn't matter it would be the same as death since you wouldn't remember anything. Why can't you reincarnate into something good?

either absolutely nothing or eternal paradise
i dont think the heaven/hell stereotype in christianity is as straightforward as people believe it as, i feel like there is something infinitely deeper when it comes to earth and why i should worship this deity over another. its a battle of spiritual conscience and mentality, i feel like him coming down to earth and doing what he did and crucifixion was the only way we could truly get to understand just how much this guy loved us
regardless if he's real its a true anomaly and no such thing has been seen (death/crucifixion for a false religious belief that you are the leader of, and your disciples follow fates just as bad if not worse than yours)

either we meet what created us and we go back to our beginning or nothing
both of which are ideal, or hell which is generally for the spiritually negative and rejective, making themselves the center of their everything and bitter spirits in which those are sent. it isn't as simple as muh jesus or picking this denomination over that

tldr: death or meet god

You are nothing, your โ€œconsciousness is just what your body adapted/created to use logic and reasoning along with your senses to make decisions; when your body is dead so too is your mind, as it houses it

I agree heavily with this. I know hell isn't like dantes inferno its just a place without christ. You are without christ alone and thats a eternal punishment. God/Jesus is offering you a hug its up to you whether you embrace it or refuse. I do agree that the followers wouldn't die for something they didn't believe especially something as complicated and beautiful as jesus. The crucifixion part is a great detail. I also loved the aspect of the soul and how you brought that up. I know normies will never be able to understand how complex our souls and jesus is like we're talking about it just love this high IQ response. What is your IQ lol.

absolutely, the bible is just an oversimplification of our surrounding world by god for our minds to comprehend the universe
finally seeing some intelligent people on this forum instead of being hateful degenerate mindless egotistical racists or oversimplifying christianity as "follow this man because he is god or else you burn in hell".

nothing

the other day i became an ex muslim and i am now agnostic, funny because it was right before ramadan

anyways, yesterday i spent hours researching and reading about stories from people who have died and been revived, the majority of them said they felt peace just before they died and then it was nothingness and they awoke to them being revived in the hospital.

i do think that a higher power existing is definitely logically plausible but i believe religion is just something us as humans made to try and cope with the fact that we have no evidence and absolutely no idea about what happens after we die.

itโ€™s probably just the same as before we were born, although something like the egg theory would be cool aha, or maybe eternal doing whatever the fuck u want, or maybe something our minds couldnโ€™t fathom at all.

i spend hours thinking about it

there isn't really a "one place" to start, read the more philosophical and truly immaculate parts of the bible like Ecclesiastes, look into theology if it interests you but try speaking to him in your head like you talk to yourself, you get responses in better ways than just words. it affects the world around you. sometimes i pray and i get exactly what i want. sometimes it comes later, sometimes it comes in a different form, it all really depends on your intentions. pray with intent to align yourself with god (not just moral truths like good vs evil but the psychcological and mental state of awareness in which alignment with him provides) and from there continue your own journey. do not listen to anyone else when it comes to these things, not even me, it only matters what YOU have in your heart and how much you love him, and the more you love him the more you will become aware of just how much he loves you.
as for my iq i have no clue, standardized iq testing is for the material world based on pattern recognition and cognitive performance based on time, not necessarily how much you know, so if you score low it doesn't mean shit, if you score high it also doesnt mean shit
last time i took it in 2022 when i was 10 or 11 it was 121-135

big step is being kinder and being less active on here, i had an acc that got banned at 2.5k posts and i made this just to see what happened on here since. My best advice is just pray and talk with God and have faith in him brah, we will all make it :)

if this is something to try and push me to believe in christianity then iโ€™d respectfully decline, iโ€™d rather go back to islam than christianity. too much logical incoherence within the christian theology, no disrespect ofc weโ€™re all entitled to our own beliefs :02Woop:

this could all be considered a cope, christianity, religion, way of life, but a real world example is the placebo effect. everything and anything you think of is real, at least in an idea or moment of thought or time, christ is real whether it is to you or it isn't. you are capable of doing so much more than what you think you are as a soul

ive actually put some serious thought and research into this and from the info we have theres only really 2 realistic explanations. 1, there is nothing and it will be like it was before we were born, it wasnt pitch black or some shit but it was just nothing, so it will just be the same shit as before we were born. 2, 'nothing' is impossible from our theories so, on a long enough time scale (since time is infinite according to our theories) something will eventually happen where we somehow gain conciousness, who knows how or in what way, but its bound to happen since nothing is technically impossible. i guess we just wait and see

Thats true and a good conclusion I feel like that supports that there could be something after our lives truly. IMO atleast

the basis of that is that there is always no matter what a possibility of something happening no matter how small that chance is. since time is infinite and we have no perception of time without conciousness then theoretically something MUST happen. but, this is just our 'theories'. nothing is conclusive and we will never ever have the answer, you just cant justify any explanation because its just impossible to say its like me saying im from a different planet you cant prove it and you cant know if im really saying the truth or a lie because its impossible for you to know that
