I wanted to ask, when is the optimal age for getting surgery?

like chin, zygo and orbital implants?
And is 26-27 too late?

The reason why I picked this age is, because if somebody is going to go to study, to make more money, he could easier afford surgerys and implants.

I am 27 and I’m finally having Jaw-surgery this year. I suffer from countless issues that at first glance, you might not associate with malocclusion, however it is actually not an isolated dysfunction but a systemic one, which becomes very prevalent and persistent over time, especially regarding autoimmunity.
Now, I developed arthritis in the TMJ and a degenerative loss of mass in the condyles (extreme chronic pain), as well as sleep apnea and extremely high blood pressure + tachycardia, despite living a relatively "healthy" life otherwise.
I also deal with leaky gut, chronic inflammation, migraines, chronic skin disease, and incredibly fast neurodegeneration.

I even tested positive for a few genetic polymorphisms, for instance, I...

I even tested positive for a few genetic polymorphisms, for instance, I have very reduced enzyme activity of DAO, which impairs histamine clearance. It is insane that these problems showed up as early as age 11 or 12, but nothing was done about it. You really have to rely on yourself for education and then identify the right expert to work with.

Insurance, of course, denied the surgery back then, and unfortunately, I underestimated how fast these issues would amplify.
It has become unbearable by now. I have invested countless months/ even years into researching the underlying biochemical and pathophysiological associations/ interactions, which btw also led me to the insight that many people here do some absolutely braindead things that could very well backfire. It is an insanely vast/ complex technical field that is being far too simplified by most here.

But regarding your question, it is definitely not too late.
Yes, at that age you may be in the middle of or near the end of your physical prime, but aside from all the functional and preventive benefits, your aesthetics still matter, and you are technically still young.
The earlier the better though, at least if you have an actual jaw-anomaly. Without health, everything is nothing.

Oh, my bad, I thought you were talking about actual jaw surgery, not just aesthetically motivated procedures.
