At what angle should you hold your head to look the best 
A slightly downward tilted head, in my opinion, makes the front profile look better, the canthal tilt and eyebrow angle look more positive and your upper eyelid appears smaller.
But in the side profile you look recessed.
Tilting your head upward causes the exact opposite effect.
What also comes into play is that your height influences the angle from which your face is seen
Short people are seen from above (which looks like a downward tilt), tall people from below (like an upward tilt).
So should you adapt your angles to your height as well
