Who are the best black pilled maxillo facial surgeons in the US?Depends on the doctor and what you are aiming for.
Looksmaxxers forget that bimax, jaw surgeries is for health issues first, not turning someone into a Chad. So if you go to a maxillo-facial surgeon that isn't blackpilled, he's only going to fix your health issues while improving a bit your aesthetics. While a blackpilled surgeon, like the russian one, will help your health issues, and aesthetics.

Which has more prestige, OMFS or plastics? This depends. Plastic Surgeons are head to toe surgeons.
“The scope of plastic surgery is ‘The skin and it’s contents.’ Plastic Surgeons are The ultimate specialists and the ultimate generalists.”
It’s not surprising that the first solid organ transplant was performed by a Plastic Surgeon in the form of a Kidney Transplant. Plastic Surgeons May focus on Hand Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Burn Surgery, etc. However most private practice aesthetic surgeons focus on rejuvenation aesthetics and/or female breast & body aesthetic surgery. They have not done craniomaxillofacial work since residency which could have been decades ago.
Then again many private practice maxillofacial surgeons focus on the quick & easy cash cows like Wisdom Teeth Removal & Dental Implants and maybe some basic Orthognathic work, and like their plastic surgery counterparts have not done craniofacial work (above the LF1 level) since residency either... In some areas/practices it is somewhat of a status symbol to be a senior OMFS who does not have to take trauma call at the ER/Hospital and be able to “coast” through the last decade or two of their career limiting their practice to simple cases (certainly can be one of the best lifestyle specialties of the surgeons.)
For this reason the BEST surgeon is the one who has done the most of THAT procedure with consistently good outcomes - it doesn’t matter if that is a Plastic Surgeon, OMFS, or ENT.

It's too bad where I live you have to also do a dentistry degree for training in oral maxillo-facial surgery
Are you in the medical field? I'm starting undergrad medicine this fall and want to go for plastics, too early to say for sure I know, but it's what I think I'll aim for as of now.I think plastics might have more prestige but we are splitting hairs.
In most countries you need a dental degree, and opt for a medical degree as well. Some countries require double degree but those countries also have undergraduate medical and dental degrees like South Africa Start with your BChD then get MBBS/MBChB

Can you elaborate on this? I think I have an idea what you are talking about.
