its really up to you whether you take it in the end, me personally i wouldnt risk it until i got confirmation. Perhaps you could bring it up and diguise it as a theoretical question to a cardioligist

Oral minox causes tachycardia and hypotension. Even topical formulations higher than 5% concentration can have slight systemic effects.
It doesn't worth the risk; just use the 5% foam formulation once or twice daily; it's clinically approved
