Oral Minoxidil 5mg or 10mg which is better?

Both are basically the same price so i was thinking that i would save a lot of money by buying the 10mg one. Is it also not possible to cut the 10mg pill in two if the dose is too high? So i pretty much get twice the minoxidil for the same price.

Is it not better to just go with 10mg and cut it in pieces of 4? Why is 2,5 the best? Seems like it has the least value

saying a dosage of 2.5mg would be better, I personally have 5mg pills that I cut in half. Cutting a pill 1/4 sounds like a hastle. Id just go with the 5mg.
